BAND UPDATES FALL/SPRING 2006
For those who couldn't make the game Saturday, it was very fun, but very short! MJ wasn't there, so you didn't
miss too much! It was a small crowd! Michale Jordan's son plays very well and shares his father's number 23!

The game last night was AWSOME!!!!!! I played piccolo for the first time in two years, and I played pretty well!!!
I borrowed from a friend, who will remain un-named since I don't use names on this site, and I played it and it was AWSOME!!!!
And after the game Doc did all these band cheers with us like..."Is this a basketball?" and we respond "Yes thats a
basketball!" It was sooooooo fun!!! You should try and come to the last game if you can! Oh yeah, we won
too!

OH MY GOSH!!! The game tonight was SOOO cool! We went into TWO overtimes!!! Can you believe it? Our
team TWO OVERTIMES!!!!!!! Of course we still lost, but it was SOOO close! It was WONDERFULLY COOL!!!! Its
too bad more than half the band missed this! You should have come, all of you, it was SO EXCITING!!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!! You guys did AMAZING last night! Phenominal! Best I've
heard the GROUP play yet! I'll admit individuals(me) made some mistakes, but overall, ASTOUNDING!!!!!

Well...wow...! Given we COULD have done better!!!!! Guys, how did that
happen? We did REALLY well in most of the rehearsales, what happened tonight???? I don't like to repramande you
guys, but...how?????? Anyway, a lot of you did REALLY well, and to those who did, GOOD JOB!!! But those of you
who didn't, and I have great faith you know who you are...why?

BAND UPDATES SUMMER/FALL (MARCHING BAND SEASON) 2006
Tehe! First football game of the season has come and gone! We, surprisingly, won! 9-7 in favour of the
Giants! Pretty crazy, no? Marching band had a fun time, though most of us were exauhsted by the end of the game!
We played a vacation tour-y thing, California Girls, WipeOut/Jaws, and POTC music! Next game is homecoming and I hope
everybody from band will be there! Sincerely,

Second football game was INCREDIBLE!!! Can you say WIPE OUT?????? GIANTS BEAT NILES WEST 41-0!!!!!!!!!!!
For our tem that is AMAZZING[with two "z"s ;)]!!!!!!!!!!!! Bravo to HP Giants! Band played such cool stuff for
half time! SNL theme song! So cool sounding, though it kills the brasses! China Grove, Come on Eileen(which
is following me around!), and Time Warp!!! It was really fun, even though I kept turning the wrong way...sorry Jer!!!!!

lol, a little late? YES!!!!! Sorry guys, but I have been...don't ask! Anyway, two weeks ago we played
Deerfeild! It was cold, and wet, and rainy, but guess what! Our boys WON!!!!! YIPEE 25-8 in favour of the
GIANTS! It might if been 25-0 if someone had not started chanting "this games over", he-hem...! lol, I am JUST
kidding!

Okay, so I have really -not- been on top of things lately, sorry, MYA eating life!!! Anyway, seprate issue!
We won last Friday, if anyone still cares! We are going to playoffs! Yay, more Pirate-ness:)!!!! *actually,
I have become partial to "Time Warp", but, well, we all know Sarah is to blame for that one...! Anyway, the game was
very fun, but it was doubly awesome when our drum major from last year came back, so...all he did was talk to Doc, but his
very presence made the band REALLY excited!

Okay, so, news from the feild? THE GIANTS ARE GOING TO PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We won the last game, against
Niles North 43-6. Oh gosh if we keep up like this I do not even want to think! Anyway, we did Pirates, drum solo,
and "Come on Eileen" at half time! It's been a lot of fun, so you all should come out to playoff games now that we are
in them! By the way, Jeremy, this should satisfy your ego, you were right! Are you happy now? Hmm, well are you?
Anyway, yeah, I'm looking forward to another emergency pep assembly! WOOT WOOT! GO GIANTS!

YAY!! Guess who's NOT on top of things, ME! We've been out of playoffs for a week and I am just now getting
around to noting it, oh well! YAYNESS at least, we got as far as we did! Half-time was fun, even if pre-game was
a mess! We played China Grove, Come On Eileen, and Time Warp! It was awesomely fun! We played with the Deerfeild
marching band, now that was awesome! Anyway, so that's all for a few weeks!
